Privacy Policy
Last updated: January 1, 2025 | Established 2019
Applied Asset Partners is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy describes how we collect, use, store, and protect personal information submitted through this website. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party.
1. Who We Are
Applied Asset Partners ("AAP", "we", "us", or "our") operates the website at this domain as a marketing and inquiry intake site for our private asset advisory services. For privacy-related inquiries, contact us at: Services@appliedassetpartners.com.
2. What Information We Collect
We collect only the information you voluntarily provide through our contact form, which may include:
- First and last name
- Email address
- Phone number (optional)
- Country or region of residence
- Service area of interest
- The text of your inquiry message
We do not collect financial account details, asset values, tax identification numbers, government-issued identification, or other sensitive financial information through this website. Please do not include such details in your inquiry message.
We do not use cookies, tracking pixels, analytics software, or advertising technologies on this website beyond what is inherent to the hosting platform (Netlify). We do not knowingly collect information from individuals under 18 years of age.
3. How We Use Your Information
Information submitted through the contact form is used solely to:
- Respond to your inquiry and prepare for an initial consultation
- Communicate with you regarding our services
- Comply with applicable legal obligations
We do not use your information for marketing, profiling, automated decision-making, or any purpose other than responding to your direct inquiry.
4. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)
For individuals located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or United Kingdom, our legal basis for processing your personal data is your consent — provided by voluntarily submitting the contact form — and, where applicable, our legitimate interest in responding to genuine business inquiries. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us at the email below.
5. How We Store and Protect Your Information
Form submissions are processed and stored by Netlify, Inc. (our hosting provider) via their Forms product. Netlify is located in the United States. By submitting the contact form, you acknowledge that your data will be transferred to and stored in the United States. Netlify maintains industry-standard security practices and we have executed a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) with Netlify pursuant to GDPR Article 28. For details, see Netlify's DPA and Privacy Policy.
Our team accesses form submissions exclusively through a secured Netlify dashboard. Submission data is retained for a maximum of 12 months, after which it is deleted unless an ongoing engagement requires retention.
We maintain strict internal confidentiality protocols. No team member may disclose client inquiry information to any third party without explicit written authorization.
6. Third-Party Services
This website loads fonts from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com). This causes your browser to connect to Google's servers, which may record your IP address. We are working to eliminate this dependency by self-hosting our fonts. If you wish to prevent this data transfer, you may disable loading of external fonts in your browser settings.
We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any other advertising or analytics trackers.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access: request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Correction: request correction of inaccurate data
- Deletion: request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
- Portability: request your data in a machine-readable format
- Objection: object to processing based on legitimate interests
- Restriction: request we restrict processing of your data
- Withdrawal of consent: withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing
To exercise any of these rights, including withdrawing consent previously given via our contact form, email us at Services@appliedassetpartners.com. We will respond within 30 days. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing prior to withdrawal.
8. California Privacy Rights (CCPA / CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete your personal information, the right to opt out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell personal information), and the right to non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights. To exercise these rights, contact us at Services@appliedassetpartners.com.
9. International Data Transfers
This website is operated from the United States. If you are located outside the United States, including in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, please be aware that information you submit will be transferred to and processed in the United States, which may have different data protection laws than your country.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of this website following any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
